Buku is a student-driven app designed to empower peers by bridging academic and lifestyle needs through accessibility, sustainability, and connection. Built by students, for students, we prioritize Educational Equity by ensuring learners from all backgrounds can access affordable tools, textbooks, and supplies, leveling the playing field for academic success.
We champion a Circular Life ethos, fostering peer-to-peer exchanges that extend the lifecycle of resources—from course materials to dorm essentials—reducing waste, easing financial burdens, and nurturing a healthier planet.
At our core, we believe in Community: creating spaces where students collaborate, share knowledge, and support one another’s growth. Buku reimagines student life as a collective journey where success is rooted in shared resources, responsible choices, and a commitment to uplifting every member of our global campus.
Together, we’re proving that smarter consumption isn’t just better for your wallet and the Earth—it’s the foundation of a stronger, more inclusive future.
The Buku App is present at Fordham Univserity at both the Rose Hill & Lincoln Center campuses.
On each campus where we operate, there will be a designated representative there to help facilitate transactions and ensure compliance.
Please contact our campus representatives for campus specific inquiries. To become a campus representative please email your resume to your unviersity’s rep.
